Installing on a Palm handheld

Simply download the application package, unzip it, and hotsync one of the .prc files and at least one dictionary to your device, or put them in the /palm/Launcher directory on a removable memory card. (Dictionaries on a card can also be placed in /palm/programs/Crosswords if you prefer.) For the dictionary you can use BasEnglish2to8 included in the package, or pick one or more from here.

Installing on a PocketPC device

Crosswords should run on any ARM-based PocketPC device -- which means any less than two years old and many older than that.

There is no installer for Crosswords. Just download the application file (xw4_something.exe) and at least one dictionary (.xwd file) onto your device. To run Crosswords, launch it from the file explorer.
